Planet Africa Television is the first English language television series of its kind on African heritage and current affairs produced in Canada and syndicated worldwide. Hailed as a great television experience by audiences and professionals in the industry, it seeks to engage and inquire for Africa and African people around the world.

The program is focused on success stories, unity of African people, plus to enlighten and entertain the world about African experiences and aspirations. Common themes include investment in Africa, technology transfer, women in development, youth enterprise, brain drain, exporting culture and the internet. The Planet Africa Television program airs across Canada three times a week on OMNI Television. It is also broadcast on BEN Television in Europe, and MBI Network in Africa.

The target audience takes patronage of businesses and organizations that make products and services directly available to them seriously. The target audience has tremendous purchasing power, and the program has commanded a loyal audience since its inception in September 2002.
